ASSISTANT BASEBALL COACH RYAN PHILLIPS

Ryan Phillips is entering his second season as an assistant coach with the Colorado Mines baseball program.

Phillips is no stranger to the CSM program as he was a starting pitcher on the 2002 club and earned First Team All-RMAC accolades. He will work primarily with the pitching staff this season.

As a senior, Phillips produced a 4-8 mark with a 5.99 earned run average. He started a team-high 12 games and tied for the team lead with seven complete games. In addition, he led the squad with 61 strikeouts and also finished second on the ballclub with 76.2 innings pitched.

Phillips also batted .299 (44-of-147) as a senior and finished second on the club with 12 home runs. He also collected 37 runs, 12 doubles and 44 runs RBI.

In November of 2002, Phillips was selected to the 2003 American International Baseball Team that competed in a tournament in Brasschaat, Belgium.
