MINES GOLF PLACES SIXTH AT NORTHERN COLORADO OPEN
WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado School of Mines golf team ended its fall season with a sixth place finish out of seven teams at the two-day, 54-hole Northern Colorado Open at Pelican Lakes Golf and Country Club.
CSM opened with a 327 and followed that with a 322 in Monday's second round. The Orediggers rounded out the tournament on Tuesday afternoon with its best round (314).
Junior Steve Greene (Westminster, Colo./Standley Lake) led Mines as he tied for 12th with a three round total of 227 (79-75-73).
Northern Colorado won the team title with an 880 and Scott Redmond of Air Force claimed medalist honors with a 217 (73-72-72).
