CSM VOLLEYBALL WINS AT COLORADO CHRISITIAN, 3-1

LAKEWOOD, Colo. - The Colorado School of Mines volleyball team picked up a 3-1 win at Colorado Christian Saturday night in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action. Game scores were 24-30, 30-24, 30-25, 30-18.

CSM (10-14, 5-10 RMAC) was led by junior outside hitter Samantha Bauer (Lakewood, Colo./Dubai UAE) who tallied 16 kills and 10 digs. Sophomore middle hitter Amanda Rebol and freshman middle blocker Nicole Leeper (Brighton, Colo./Brighton) amassed 13 kills apiece, while sophomore setter Katherine Muterspaugh (Colorado Springs, Colo./Palmer) dished out 53 assists and had 12 digs.

CCU's Amy Corder registered a match-best 18 kills and 22 digs, while Becky Mogle recorded 10 kills to lead the Cougars.

Mines is slated to return to action on Tuesday night when it travels to Regis for a 7:00 pm match.
