ASSISTANT WRESTLING COACH
JOSH HUTCHENS

The 2008-09 season marks Josh Hutchens' third overall year as an assistant wrestling coach at Colorado School of Mines. Hutchens, who returned for his second stint with the Orediggers in 2007-08, also served as an assistant coach for the Orediggers during the 2002-03 season.

Prior to returning to CSM, Hutchens spent three years (2004-05 to 2006-07) as the head wrestling coach at James Madison University.

A graduate of Purdue University, Hutchens placed third in the Big Ten Championships, was selected as the Boilermakers' Most Improved Wrestler and was an NCAA Division I national qualifier during his collegiate career.

Hutchens, who served as a volunteer assistant coach at Purdue in 2001-02, also spent one season (2003-04) as the assistant coach at James Madison.

Hutchens and his wife, Marianne, who is the Women's Strength & Conditioning Coach / Assistant Track & Field Coach at Mines, reside in Golden.
